That ancient mountains ward,

The heavy tone of tempered steel,
Disturbs the sober air,
Graceful hand and gleaming axe,
That dance before the Winter's glare,

Imposing branches break the frozen shroud,
Falling 'pon the earthen trail,
Of giants hewn and bowed,

Lord of the hammer's fall,
His potent strikes, the fires ordain,
Chorus of embers,

The stalwart form of his will,
